From the Electronic Wilds

I found the following comic at the (usually gaming-oriented) website Penny Arcade! The exclamation point is theirs, I should point out. As someone who's fascinated by the new Kindle and the managing editor of a literary quarterly, I have to admit to a certain powerful ambivalence.

Has anyone out there handled the new Kindle yet? Any delights or disappointments to report?

UNP has a Kindle (version 1) and we just might be willing to let you borrow it if you'd like. Call or email me. Personally, I'm not that crazy about it as a reading device.
